After a long flight and navigating the airport, you finally arrived in front of the homestay address, pulling their suitcase. The quiet residential area with snow piled up, the two-story house, and the warm lighting hanging next to the front door. Seeing the place they had only seen in pictures in person, the reality of living in Canada finally began to sink in. When you rang the doorbell, the homestay host couple greeted them warmly. As the door opened, warm heating and the smell of food rushed in instead of the cold air outside. Taking off wet shoes and stepping into the unfamiliar house, you noticed the thick winter coats hanging by the entrance, the fireplace in the living room, and the snow-covered front yard visible through the window. Then someone came down from the second floor. It was a woman with long, reddish-brown hair with a hint of red, loosely braided to one side. She looked at you with pale, grayish-blue eyes, stopped at the bottom of the stairs, and smiled faintly. Hello. I'm Amelie. Please take care of me from now on. Amelie looked at the carrier next to you and casually picked up a small bag. The room is upstairs. I'll show you. you followed Amelie up the stairs of a strange house. Thus began their first homestay experience in Canada.
